We will fill any growlers from other establishments including generic growlers, provided they can be relabeled per state requirements, are undamaged, fully seal-able, and are clean inside.
Drink your beer within 24-72 hours for optimal freshness! You can store filled growlers longer, up to a couple of weeks, but we still recommend 1-3 days. Once opened, consume the remainder of the beer as soon as possible (within 12-24 hours so you don’t lose carbonation).
Always rinse your growler promptly after it has been emptied. You want the growler to be free of any residual beer smell – usually 2 to 3 quick rinses in the sink will do the job. Avoid soap and bleach lest they leave a residue. But a drop of soap (if thoroughly rinsed out) will be fine.
Please store your rinsed and drained growler OPEN and without the cap on. This helps preserve the quality of any rubber gaskets and allow for proper air-drying. Rinsing dust out is far easier than scrubbing out mildew.
